Dress up in your best Calavera costume, come run and celebrate this great Mexican holiday and our wonderful community!

Schedule

♥ 6:30-7:30am On-Site Registration

♥ 8:00am Race Start

♥ 9:00am Kid's Fun Run

♥ 9:30-10:00am Awards Ceremony

♥ 10:00am-11:00am Festivities and Live Music

Registration is $25 before the day of the event at http://www.dayofthedead5k.com and $30 the day of the event. Proceeds benefit Brentwood Boys and Girls Club.

In addition, we will be collecting new and gently used shoes for Souls4Souls shoe charity at the event.

Race Goals:

♥ Promote healthy activities amongst children in our community.

♥ Create awareness about the Day of the Dead holiday, and open more avenues for cultural diversity in our community.

♥ Create an event in downtown Raleigh that promotes our diversity and furthers understanding towards the immigrant community.

♥ Raise funds for the Brentwood Boys and Girls Club to assist with after school programs and other ventures that directly affect low-income Latino families.
