Description
The 2011 North Carolina State Veterans Day Parade will be held on Friday November 11th beginning at 9:15 am and running until 1:15 pm!
There will be a ceremony at 11:00 am (11/11/11) which is the traditional date honoring all veterans.
The theme for this years Parade is Welcome Home Veterans We Support You Now and Always presented by Wake County Veterans Council.
The Parade will begin on South Salisbury Street and will then run to the intersection of Davie and Fayetteville Street and then proceed north on Fayetteville Street. From there the parade will continue on Morgan Street, turn left onto Morgan Street and proceed to Salisbury Street, turn right onto Salisbury Street and proceed to Edenton Street, turn right onto Edenton Street and proceed to Wilmington Street where the parade will disassemble.
There will be a gathering on the Capitol grounds for further ceremonies.
