As we end the 2011 year with our November event, we want to emphasize our “pay it forward” tradition, by introducing a new feature for this event only — The Nonprofit Showcase.

We’ve selected the United Way of the Greater Triangle as our featured nonprofit of the month. Accompanied by several of their nonprofit partners, they will be highlighted during our November networking event. It is our sincerest hope, that our participants will not only make new and beneficial business connections, but will also see first hand how corporate responsibility supports much needed services in the Triangle.

In response to the raving reviews from last month’s Empowered Socialpreneurs Forum, we will continue with this monthly presentation for socially responsible entrepreneurs making a difference in their communities.

About our Featured Speaker

Presentation Topic — Workplace Zen: How to Initiate, Maintain and Master it.
What makes happy employees? Or from the other angle: How do you work with your employer to make your life and the lives of your co-workers better? We will be kicking the curb on some of the popular cultural incentives used at leading companies worldwide, and taking a behavioral approach to accomplishing workplace zen. Come hear stories, interesting data on the relationships between efficiency and work environments, and learn a little on the way.

Taylor is the General Manager of HostNine and is responsible for the overall, day-to-day performance of the company. He is actively focused on making sure we are generating sales, overseeing the success of our marketing efforts, and seeking opportunity and direction for the organization through the reseller hosting industry.
